Currently, the domestic UAS technology is lagging behind the leading countries in terms of both advanced technology and industrial competitiveness, but it cannot avoid the global efforts of integrating UAS into existing manned aviation system and applying them to industries. UAS is a relatively new system to existing aviation world, but ICAO is making a great effort to help Contracting States and the aviation industries to better understand and promote UAV systems. In particular, the UAS is classified as RPAS and other UAS, leading to the standardization work for integrating the RPAS into the manned aviation in the near future. For this purpose, ICAO has been promoting the standardization for the global operation of the RPAS, and in this study, it has been carrying out the study on the strategy to establish the domestic RPAS certification system including the ICAO standardization activities. This paper analyzes the domestic and international regulatory frameworks for RPAS and presents a strategy for building the domestic RPAS certification system.

In this paper, we classified a flight pattern of unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV) which will be operating in UTM system and analyzed its flight pattern by purpose of use. Flight patterns of UAV are sorted into three patterns which are circling, monitoring and delivery. We considered four cases of industry areas using UAV which are agriculture, infrastructure monitoring, public safety & security(p.s.s) and delivery. It is necessary to build a simulation model as a verification tool for applying the flight pattern according to the use of UAV to the real UTM system. Therefore, we propose the simulation model of UAV with updating states over time. We applied simulation to UAV monitoring flight pattern, and confirmed that the flight was done by the given input data. The simulation model will be used in the future to verify that the UAV has various flight patterns and can operate safely and efficiently for the intended use.

In this paper, we propose a moving object detection and tracking algorithm based on multi-frame feature point tracking information to reduce false positives. However, there are problems of detection error and tracking speed in existing studies. In order to compensate for this, we first calculate the corner feature points and the optical flow of multiple frames for camera movement compensation and object tracking. Next, the tracking error of the optical flow is reduced by the multi-frame forward-backward tracking, and the traced feature points are divided into the background and the moving object candidate based on homography and RANSAC algorithm for camera movement compensation. Among the transformed corner feature points, the outlier points removed by the RANSAC are clustered and the outlier cluster of a certain size is classified as the moving object candidate. Objects classified as moving object candidates are tracked according to label tracking based data association analysis. In this paper, we prove that the proposed algorithm improves both precision and recall compared with existing algorithms by using quadrotor image - based detection and tracking performance experiments.

In this study, a 40 GHz band pass filter(BPF) employing a hair-pin structure has been designed, fabricated, and characterized for millimeter-wave wireless communication applications. Using the 3 dimensional(3-D) electromagnetic(EM) tool and design equations of the hairpin BPF, the BPF was desgned on the 5 mil-thick Duroid substrate(RT5880) with a relative dielectric constant (εr) of 2.2. The tapping point (t) of the U-shape resonator in the input and output port has been determined using extracted an external Q-factor (Qe). The coupling coefficients between the other resonators are calculated by adjusting the physical dimensions for the desired response of the BPF. The fabricated BPF was characterized using probing method on a probe station. Its measured center frequency(fc) and fractional BW are 41.6 GHz and 7.43 %, respectively. The measured return loss is below -10 dB at the pass band and the insertion loss is 3.87 dB. The fabricated BPF is as small as 9.1 x 2.8 mm2.

In this paper, we designed and implemented an ultra wideband(UWB) antenna with band rejection characteristics. The proposed antenna consists of a planar radiation patch with slots and ground planes on both sides. Due to the slots in the radiation patch, the antenna shows band rejection characteristics. U-type slot contributes for wireless local area network(WLAN, 5.15~5.825 GHz) band rejection and n-type slot contributes for X-Band(7.25~8.395 GHz) band rejection. To make voltage standing wave ratio(VSWR) less than 2.0 for UWB frequency band except rejection bands, the shapes of planar radiation patch and ground plane was modified. The Ansoft's high frequency structure simulator(HFSS) was used for the design process and simulations of the proposed antenna. The simulated antenna showed VSWR less than 2.0 for all UWB band excepts for dual rejection bands of 5.15 ~ 5.94 GHz and 7.02 ~ 8.45 GHz. And measured VSWR for the implemented antenna is less than 2.0 for all UWB band of 3.10~10.60 GHz excluding dual rejection bands of 5.12~5.95 GHz and 7.20~8.58 GHz.

Recently, there have been many studies on the IoT environment in which the sensors attached to the equipment automatically transmit and process the site information in real time through the network to control the equipment. The core of such a system is a network for data transmission and reception, and a wired network with wide transmission distance is a priority. However, in the case of a wired network, there is a problem that the time and cost consumed to configure the communication is higher than that of the wireless. In this paper, we propose LPWA - based wireless data transmission system using LPWA and BLE communication to solve this problem. The proposed system collects data from equipment through BLE and transmits data to the server using LPWA. Experimental results show that the spreading factor of maximum length of LPWA is 8, and the minimum length is 9.

In recent years, bicycle craze has been blowing in Korea, and bicycle has become a means of transportation near. In addition, there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things, and recently there is a lot of interest in the Internet of things. However, despite the development of the bicycle market, the bicycle cradle does not have such a development, and it still has a drawback in that it requires a separate lock for the lock. In this regard, I would like to find some problems and solve them.
In this paper, we have implemented a system that can control the location and use of the bicycle cradle in real time by communicating with the app and Arduino so that it can help the collection and retrieval of the bicycle which is the problem of the current bicycle cradle. n addition, we propose a method to establish a shared economic system based on Internet of things by providing shared services with acquaintances and others, and to improve user convenience by providing real - time services.
