In this paper, we design a flight controller using a dynamic compensator for a small unmanned aerial vehicle. The proposed method ensures flight stability during altitude holding and waypoints passing by improving the transient response and steady state error. The control system consists of dual feedback loops with an inner loop and a outer loop. The inner loop has a PD controller to improves the transient response and the outer loop has a dynamic compensator to reduce overshoot in the transient response and improve the steady state error. The performance of the proposed method is evaluated by flight test on a small UAV.

CNS/ATM(Communication Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management) was adopted as a standard navigation system of 21st century. Therefore, ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization) members are developing the technology and infrastructure of CNS/ATM. ADS-B(Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast) system and Multilateration system are being implemented in the surveillance field of CNS/ATM. Multilateration system is installed in order to complement radar system and to surveil blind areas. Also, Multilateration system using TDOA(Time Difference Of Arrival) is more accurate than radar. In this paper, we applied an IMM(Interacting Multiple Model) filter which is widely used in radar systems to the Multilateration data in order to improve the reliability of the Multilateration data. Comparisons with the original Multilateration data and the Multilateration data with the IMM filter show that the ADS-B data with the IMM filter provides a better performance: 38.37% near the airport, 20.86% around 10 miles of the airport.

One approach of the control of a nonlinear system that has gained some success employs a fuzzy structure in cooperation with a neural network(ANFIS). The traditional ANFIS can only model and control the process in single-dimensional output nature in spite of multi-dimensional input. The membership function parameters are tuned using a combination of least squares estimation and back-propagation algorithm. In the case of a mobile robot, we need to drive left and right wheel respectively. In this paper, we proposed the control system architecture for a mobile robotic system that employs the 2-input 2-output ANFIS controller for trajectory tracking. Simulation results and preliminary evaluation show that the proposed architecture is a feasible one for mobile robotic systems.

This paper develops and analyzes a new multiple-hypothesis Receiver Autonomous Integrity Monitoring (RAIM) algorithm as a candidate for future standard architecture. The proposed algorithm can handle simultaneous multiple failures as well as a single failure. It uses measurement residuals and satellite observation matrices of several consecutive epochs for Failure Detection and Exclusion (FDE). The proposed algorithm redueces the Minimum Detectable Bias (MDB) via the Relative RAIM (RRAIM) scheme. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can detect and filter out multiple failures in tens of meters.

Ionospheric delay error, one of main error sources in GPS signal, varies with signal frequency. Dual-frequency user uses L1, L2 frequency pseudorange to estimate the ionospheric delay, and there are errors caused by pseudorange measurement noise. So, filter is usually used to smooth the measurement. Weighted hatch filter can estimate optimal smoothed pseudorange mesrement. But measurement noise model is needed to use this filter. In this paper, measurement noise modeling is counducted for NDGPS reference station. Using noise modeling result, weighted hatch filter estimate smoothed pseudorange measurement and ionospheric delay. Standard deviation of ionospheric dealy error drops to one-twenty fifth of non-filtered result.

One-way Network-RTK(Real Time Kinematics) is considered as a method which can satisfy moving vehicle`s recently-required high accuracy and mobility. When we use one-way Network RTK for vehicle navigation, multiple cells-based system is required to provide the service continuously in wide area. The rover which moves through various cells inevitably experiences a correction discontinuity, which is not eliminated by the DD(Double Difference) method and to cause 13cm(horizontal) and 48cm(vertical) position error. We suggest three solutions to reduce this discontinuity, which are identification of master RS with neighbor networks, duplication of communication module to receive corrections from other cells, and ambiguity adjustment between neighbor cells. All of our suggestions reduce the error to 1/4 wavelength in measurement and 3cm in position-domain, and we suggest the ambiguity adjustment is the best when we consider the extendibility of service area and the cost of rover device.

The up-streams of the continuous streaming of data packets with lower importance level in the wireless sink node can cause congestion and delay, they affect on energy efficiency, memory size, buffer size, and throughput. This paper proposes a new wireless sink congestion control mechanism based on tournament scheduling. The proposed method consists of two module parts: stream decision module part and service differentiation module part. The final winner in the tournament controls congestion effectively, minimizes packet loss due to congestion, decreases energy consumption, and improves QoS. The simulation result shows that the proposed method is more effective and has better performance compared with those of congestion descriptor-based control method, reliability-based control method, and best-effort transmission control method.

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is widely utilized for commercial and military applications to estimate the location of the user or object. The GPS suffers from various intentional or unintentional interferers and it requires estimating the accurate angle-of-arrival (AOA) of the GPS signal to suppress interference signals and to efficiently detect GPS data. Since the power of GPS signal is very low comparing with the noise and interference signals, it is extremely difficult to estimate GPS AOA before despreading. Although AOA of GPS signal is usually estimated after despreading, it requires choosing the GPS AOA among results of AOA estimation because they include AOAs of interference and GPS signals when existing high-power interferers. In this paper, we propose the efficient choosing algorithm of the GPS signal among the estimated AOAs. The proposed algorithm compares the estimated results before despreading and after despreading for choosing AOA of GPS signal. Computer simulation examples are presented to illustrate the performance of the proposed algorithm.

One of the methods to transmit solute through solvent is diffusion. Various particles or molecules including several charged ions in the body diffuse from high density region to low density due to density difference or external electric field. This kind of mechanism is due to thermal motion of each solute molecules. These situations can be deployed using Fick`s first and second laws that govern diffusion phenomena in the body. I analysis these diffusion status of material in the body using above mentioned Fick`s laws and then implement them through illustration.
